Who We Are
We have a deep passion for college students in Charleston. Whether you’ve known Jesus for years or are just starting to figure out who He is, we want to help you have a life-giving college experience that’s full of purpose, growth, and connection.
College can be a mix of exciting opportunities and big challenges, and we’re here to walk with you through it all. Our community is a place where you can ask tough questions, grow in your faith, and find real support.
Meet the Leaders
Mason and Kate have been part of Courageous Church since 2023, when they joined the launch team. They are passionate about helping students experience life-giving, transformative collegiate years, whether continuing a faith they’ve grown up with or encountering Jesus for the very first time. Through bi-weekly college nights and fun events throughout the semester, Mason and Kate are committed to building community and creating space for students to grow in their faith.
We gather the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month at Second State Downtown (70 Beaufain Street) at 7PM.
Our College Nights will give you an opportunity to meet new people and grow in your faith. You can expect time to hang out, some teaching, and small group discussion.
All college-aged students are welcome whether you attend College of Charleston, the Citadel, Charleston Southern, or Trident Tech.
